Web Design at Wakefield College

Web Design at Wakefield College

Great News!

As web design tuition enters its tenth year at Wakefield College, we’ve got some great news! We’re changing our name and updating the course content to ensure we remain one of the best web design qualifications in the country. From September, we’ll be known as the Foundation Degree [FdA] in Web Design.

Why choose Wakefield College’s web design course?

We’re committed to providing high quality tuition at affordable prices. We’ll help you progress towards your career or educational goals by providing a level of individual support which universities struggle to match.

2009’s National Student’s Survey confirmed that Wakefield College provides an outstanding learning environment for its students.

How do we provide high quality, individualised training at affordable prices?

Wakefield College is predominantly a Further Education institution — something that we think is a distinct advantage to your Higher Education.

We’re not under pressure to recruit lots of students, so you won’t be lost in a large group. In fact, you’ll be one of only a select dozen or so in each year. Neither are we under pressure to decrease the amount of tuition you receive. At Wakefield College, you’ll study for 16 hours a week in dedicated workshop facilities, with tutor guidance and support for the whole time. Not many universities can say that! Multiply that by our 30-week timetable [per year] and you’ll see how dedicated we are to your education. We have the opportunity to get to know you as a person and to respond to your individual needs.

First year course fees for 2010/11 are £1800 — around half the price of some of our competitors — and that’s before deducting any awards or bursaries you’re entitled to.

All in all, we’re confident that we provide a more relevant, higher quality, Higher Education experience than most. And with nearly ten years experience — we know what we’re doing.
